I’ve had this post in my head for a very very long time… but as many things in life it doesn’t go as fast as you would like.
Anyway….
I’d like to share with you a little secret of what makes a good website good (or better than average)…
The internet has millions of websites online and no doubt you already have seen thousands in your lifetime. What surprises me that some websites still look absolutely sh*t.. I just can’t understand how someone can take pride in something like that. Some really do look like they are stuck in the 1990′s…
But there are even more websites that are just average…
I’m not going over every website and what is a good website and what isn’t but there are a few things that your website (in my opinion) should have to be more than just a page on the internet.

A while ago I wrote an details review about a theme called “NicheTheme” created by Chris Guthrie and Spencer Haws.
>> You can review this post here
There are a few spectacular things about this Theme, which is also the reason why I bought it at the time and used it for some of my niche websites. Chris and Spencer build this theme on the foundation of one of the best performing Adsense themes around… The Dosh Dosh themes.
These themes are focussed on driving Adsense through the roof!
I’ve used that theme on all of my websites and it remains one of the best performing themes out there.
NicheTheme 1.0 (sort of speak) had the ability to create various layouts that continuously rotated. You could track what theme works and what didn’t.

A lot of blogs tell you how to get started and how to write your first post. Which is great but then grow your blog by posting more and more. There are tons of plugins, themes and other customizations that you can do for your website to make it stand out just that bit more.
But how do you really take care of multiple websites?
There are a few advantages when it comes to WordPress.

I’ve reviewed a few plugins already which relate to increasing your subscriber list and this will be another one… but with a twist.
The Welcome Splash plugin isn’t a plugin that you see WITHIN your website, this is the plugin that you see before you actually see the homepage. These plugin’s are called pop-up plugins. This is because they pop-up with an opt-in form and some sort of message or value proposition.
Don’t get me wrong, this is totally fine, some might not like to see a pop-up but what can you do. You can’t please everyone and since it is your website you can do whatever you want.
So what is Welcome Splash exactly?

With the rise of the internet and faster broadband, a new problem was born.
Storage.
…or the lack there of…
Since everything has become digital we, as internet users, are storing more and more data on our harddrives. But those harddrives got full so we bought another one. Sometimes the computer was at its limit so people bought a new computer and the cycle started again with hoarding and storing information.
The cloud was born….
The cloud, initially, was quite an expensive concept but again with the rise of the internet the costs of hardware dropped significantly. The big companies like Google and Amazon were one of the first who embraced and adopted the Cloud concept. For those who don’t know what “the cloud” is… The cloud is where you can access and store your data so you can access it from anywhere around the world. So instead of saving something on your hard drive on your computer, you now store it on a hard drive somewhere else.
